We offer personalized care plans and a prevention-focused approach. We understand that each woman is unique and we strive to provide a tailored care plan that meets their individual needs.
BIO
Dr. Schmidt is a board certified Ob/Gyn. She has enjoyed practicing medicine since 2011. Dr. Schmidt is a MSU Spartan graduating with a Bachelors in Nutritional Science. She completed her residency at Sparrow Hospital and additionally was Chief Resident. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a competitive swimmer, and enjoys playing outdoors with her husband and 3 children.
COLLABORATION
The primary function of the practice is to perform gynecologic services.

It is our intention that you will maintain your relationship with your current primary care provider. ​​

Office hours:
Monday: 7:30 AM- 5 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM- 5 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM- 5 PM

Phone hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
The office is closed 12:30-1:30 daily

Dr. Schmidt will provide care at Traverse Bay Internal Medicine until July 17, 2026. She will be relocating to Cherry Bend Health and Wellness starting August 10, 2026. Please see important update and complete record release form at top of website.
-All insurances that were accepted at Traverse Bay Internal Medicine are also accepted at Cherry Bend Health and Wellness.
-Please direct any questions to Traverse Bay Internal Medicine prior to July 17, 2026. Best via portal messaging.
- If you are a mutual TBIM patient for internal medicine and a gynecology patient, your record can stay both at TBIM and also be transferred for gynecology care. You can continue to maintain your relationship at both places.
- Email can not be used for transfer of medical record due to HIPAA. Please mail, fax or drop off your record release to either TBIM or Cherry Bend Health and Wellness
